Hold On To Your Dreams

Strength is something I search for every day. Dustin and Tiffany both think of their mother being a strong person but on September 27,2007  when I got the news of my son being killed. I was lifeless no strength at all in my body. My body was shaking and numb and all I wanted was for someone to fix it that my baby boy could not be dead. I was mad at God and at the world. The first 3 months which included the holidays I did find the strength and was shocked but I think it was more for others so they would not be sad. Then Dec.31st 2007 I lost all strength that I thought I had. I cried evey day and just could not deal with the pain. I prayed for God to give me the strength back . I talked to Dustin alot  and after a month I have found some strength one more time. God is our strength and will hold us up when nothing else can. I do not know how long I will have this feeling  but I do know  God will pick me up when I fall.

The Unknown

I do not know what still awaits,

Or what the morrow brings;

But with the glad salute of faith,

I hail its open wings!

For this I know -- that in my Lord

Shall all my needs be met;

And I can trust the heart of him

Who has not failed me yet..

A Time To Believe

To believe is to know that every
day is a new beginning.
It is to trust that miracles happen,
and dreams really do come true.

To believe is to see angels
dancing among the clouds
To know the wonder of a stardust
 sky and the wisdom of the
man in the moon.

To believe is to know the value
of a nurturing heart,
The innocence of a child's eyes and
the beauty of an aging hand, for it
 is through their teachings
we learn to love.

To believe is to find the strength
and courage that lies within us.
When it is time to pick up
the pieces and begin again.

 To believe is to know we are not alone,
That life is a gift and this is our
time to cherish it.

To believe is to know that wonderful
surprises are just waiting to happen,
And all our hopes and dreams
are within reach.
"If only we believe"

It Takes Strength

It takes strength to be firm
It takes courage to be gentle.

It takes strength to stand guard.
It takes courage to let down your guard

It takes strength to conquer.
 It takes courage to surrender.

It takes strength to be certain.
  It takes courage to have doubt.

It takes strength to fit in.
It takes courage to stand out.

It takes strength to feel a friend's pain.
   It takes courage to feel your own pain.

It takes strength to hide your own pains.
   It takes courage to show them.

It takes strength to endure abuse.
 It takes courage to stop it.

It takes strength to stand alone.
  It takes courage to lean on another.

It takes strength to love.
It takes courage to be loved.

It takes strength to survive.
It takes courage to live.

Only Time

Who can say where the road goes

Where the day flows, only time

And who can say if your love grows

As your heart chose, only time

Who can say why your heart sighs

As your love flies, only time

And who can say why your heart cries

When your love lies, only time

Who can say when the roads meet

That love might be in your heart

And who can say when the day sleeps

If the night keeps all your heart

Who can say if your love grows

As your heart chose only time

And who can say where the road goes

Where the day flows, only time

Who knows? Only time

Who knows? Only time

Strength

I'm going home to be with Jesus

For my work on earth is thru

Please don't weep for me

For I am waiting just beyond the Blue

Be strong for the others

Who have not yet found strength to carry on

Be a witness of God's Amazing Love

And forever stand so strong

Teach all the loved ones

That the Savior will so freely give

If they will only pray with Faith

For Jesus will supply each and every need

Just as he said "All our needs"

And strength is a need

And it can only come from Him.

For now thru out eternity

I have only began to live

and I owe it all to my Savior

Who once died so I could live.

 YOU ARE

You are strong...when you take your grief and teach it to smile.

You are brave...when you overcome your fear and help others

to do the same.

You are happy...when you see a flower and are thankful

for the blessing.

You are loving...when your own pain does not blind you to the

pain of others.

You are wise...when you know the limits of your wisdom.

You are true...when you admit there are times you

fool yourself.

You are alive...when tomorrow's hope means more to you than

yesterday's mistake.

You are growing...when you know what you are but not what you

will become.

You are free...when you are in control of yourself and do not wish

to control others.

You are honorable...when you find your honor is to honor others.

You are generous...when you can take as sweetly as you can give.

You are humble...when you do not know how humble you are.

You are thoughtful...when you see me just as I am and treat me

just as you are.

You are merciful...when you forgive in others the faults you condemn

in yourself.

You are beautiful...when you don't need a mirror to tell you.

You are rich...when you never need more than what you have.

You are you...when you are at peace with who you are not.

Hold On Tightly

Hold on tightly

to what is truly important in life.

Hold on to faith;

it is the source of believing

that all things are possible.

It is the fiber and

strength of a confident soul.

Hold on to hope;

It banishes doubt

and enables attitudes

to be positive and cheerful.

Hold on to trust;

it is at the core

of fruitful relationships

that are secure and content.

Hold on to love;

it is life's greatest gift of all,

for it shares,

cares, and gives meaning to life.

Hold on to family and friends;

They are the most important

people in your life,

and they make

the world a better place.

They are your roots, and the

beginnings that you grew from;

they are the vine that has grown

through time to nourish you,

help you on your way,

and always remain close by.

Hold on to all that you are

and all that you have learned,

for these things

are what makes you unique.

Don't ignore what you feel and

what you believe

is right and important;

Your heart has a way

of speaking louder than your mind.

Hold on to your dreams;

achieve them diligently and honestly.

Never take the easy way

or surrender to deceit.

Remember others on your way

and take time to care for their needs.

Enjoy the beauty around you.

Have the courage

to see things differently and clearly.

Make the world a better place

one day at a time.

And don't let go

of the important things

that give meaning to your life.

I Give To You

I Give To You

A fire to light inside your heart,

to feel the warm embers glow.

A piece of the sun's warm rays,

to bask in it's fiery show.

I Give To You

A piece of a rainbow to color your

world, when all seems totally gray.

Some roses for the sweet perfume,

to kiss your senses with its bouquet.

I Give To You

A sprinkling of some twinkling

stars, to wish upon at night.

The morning dew to kiss the day.

To bask in it's delight.

I Give To You

A summer's breeze to caress your

face, to show that someone cares.

The sweet song of the nightingale, to

remind you that they're always there.

I Give To You

My lasting friendship, always true.

A gift of love to hold inside,

whenever you feel blue, or just

because you need a friend.

This friend, that will always

be there for you!

Rest In Peace:

You are not forgotten loved one

Nor will you ever be

As long as life and memory last

We will remember thee

We miss you now, our hearts are sore

As time goes by, we miss you more,

Your loving smile, your gentle face

No one can fill your vacant place.

I Know Who Holds Tomorrow

I don't know about tomorrow,

I just live from day to day.

I don't borrow from it's sunshine,

For it's skies may turn to gray.

I don't worry o'er the future,

For I know what Jesus said,

And today I'll walk beside Him,

For He knows what is ahead.

Refrain

Many things about tomorrow,

I don't seem to understand;

But I know Who holds tomorrow,

And I know Who holds my hand.

Ev'ry step is getting brighter,

As the golden stairs I climb;

Ev'ry burden's getting lighter;

Ev'ry cloud is silver lined.

There the sun is always shining,

There no tear will dim the eyes,

At the ending of the rainbow,

Where the mountains touch the sky.

Refrain

Many things about tomorrow,

I don't seem to understand;

But I know Who holds tomorrow,

And I know Who holds my hand.

I don't know about tomorrow,

It may bring me poverty;

But the One Who feeds the sparrow,

Is the One Who stands by me.

And the path that be my portion,

May be through the flame or flood,

But His presence goes before me,

And I'm covered with His blood.

Refrain

Many things about tomorrow,

I don't seem to understand;

But I know Who holds tomorrow,

And I know Who holds my hand.
